Your tasks

Your daily tasks

• Being involved in the research, design, development and testing of Android technologies
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Take initiative and proactively work on improving your skills and share knowledge with your colleagues

Schedule
This is a full time 40-hour per week role.
We expect you to be available on a daily basis, during operation hours (10:00 to 18:00)

Location
This job follows the hybrid model. Feel free to organize your weekly programme & choose your days in the office

You can work from our offices at SKG or ATH

We expect you to perform and take initiative based on your professional experience

Skills

• Three (3) years of professional experience in software engineering in Android
  platforms
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development
• Experience with Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Familiarity with the working of peer-to-peer networks
• You are self-motivated and self-managed. You can take initiative on what to work on a given day from a pool of available tasks with clear priorities. If you are blocked by an external issue, you communicate the situation and then work on the next available task
• Strong communicative skills so you can clearly and professionally express your thoughts, concerns, and feedback both verbally and in writing (English/Greek). You can communicate both within the company and to external stakeholders, like clients or open-source contributors
